Because of Art

Because of Art, the alias of London based producer Alex Grover, who has very quickly established himself as one of dance music's hottest new talents, earning acclaim from ravers, DJs, and tastemakers alike.

Alex has made waves across the entire spectrum of dance music, most recently with his Azure EP on Anjunadeep and the rave-inspired collaboration with Antony Szmierek, Circle of Light. His records have received widespread support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, with regular spins from Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Jack Saunders, Sarah Story, and Craig Charles, among others. Spotify UK have also championed multiple releases on key editorial playlists including ‘Altar’ and ‘New Music Friday’.

Beyond the studio, Because of Art is a growing name on the worldwide DJ circuit, most notably for his unique, energetic style of euphoric house music. Alex's DJ skills can be sampled in his 4 hour live recorded set at Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania. 

2025 is again shaping up to be an exciting time for Because of Art, with DJ appearances at Anjunadeep’s Open Air London and his highly anticipated track ‘Fired Up’ landing this summer.
